A harmful habit
Has a nasty way of growing stronger
As the battle wears on.
So don't spar with it, or
Outfox it with finesse and strategy.
For you will only exhaust your energy
And wear down your own resistance.
Strike quickly.
And eliminate it
With a sharp, clean knockout blow.
Finish and be done with it,
And spare yourself the agony,
The temptations and uncertainties
Of prolonged conflict.

TWO WOLVES
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said " My son the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiorty, lies, falsepride, superiority. And ego.
The other is Good. "It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather. "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
Which do you feed most the time.?

"Trying Instead of Doing"
We are "Trying" instead of "Doing". Most people "try" to get what they want. The problem is every time you "try", you are setting yourself up for failure. You can't try to do anything. You either do it or you don't. There is no such thing as trying. You might resist this concept at first, but it is true. " I tried this or that and I eventually succeeded." You succeeded when you needed to do to achieve your goal. The lesson here is that you cannot succeed as you are "trying". Once you stop "trying" and start "doing" you can begin to expect results. Trying has a built-in failure because if we try something and don't succeed, we can always say, "Well, at least I tried". That does not get you what you want. The problem is that you can only have two things in life-reasons or results. You either have what you want or you have reasons why you don't have what you want, however, there is nothing in between. Those who 'try' are guaranteed to fail. Those do (follow through until they get the results they desire) are the people who achieve their great dreams and desires.

TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR LIFE
TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. YES, EVERY MOMENT IS THE NEXT MOMENT IS THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. LEARNING TO LET GO MOMENT BY MOMENT IS WHAT IS NEEDED AT THIS TIME IN OUR STRUGGLING LIFE. EVERYONE CAN CREATE A NEW BEGINNING AT THIS TIME. IT DOES TAKE THE ART OF FORGIVENESS IN ALL ASPECTS OF ONE'S LIFE TO BEABLE TO DO THIS AT THIS TIME. WE CAN ONLY CHANGE THE THINGS WE CAN AND HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO, TO EXCEPT THE THINGS THAT ARE AND CAN NOT BE CHANGED, AND THE COURAGE WITH WISDOM TO MAKE THE CHANGES ONE CAN. IF ONE LOOKS AT THE SITUATIONS IN ONE'S LIFE AND PUTS THEM IN THESE CATAGORIES...THEN THINGS CAN BE DEALT WITH, EXCEPTED, AND NEW IDEAS AS TO HOW TO MOVE FORWARD WILL COME FORWARD FROM THE MIND, HEART, AND SOUL. IT IS TIME TO BLEND ALL THESE THINGS TOGETHER TO MAKE LIFE WORK. IN TIME IT WILL HAPPEN...THAT IS THE LAW OF THE UNIVERSE. GIVE IT A TRY AND FIND YOUR HAPPINESS, PEACE, AND SERNITY THAT HAS GOTTEN LOST AT THIS TIME IN HISTORY. YOU ARE HISTORY IN THE MAKING...HOW ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE YOURS?
